Our Camp director wants to let the girls sit around and talk during our ward time. None of the leaders are okay with it, so the director has asked us to come up with ideas instead(yeah, you can say our ward is a little... not together.). Our theme is "Of Royal Birth" and our ward mini-theme is "wish." Are there any crafts or ideas anyone has that has to do with these two themes? We'd appreciate anything that will keep our girls occupied.

Yeah, I don't think ward time should totally be used for planing. That's what meetings before and after church are for. However, you could use a few minutes of Opening Exercises... There are lots and lots of ideas at www.ywconnection.com !!! Theme and Mini-Theme? Um, You could : OF ROYAL BIRTH: - WOW. Here is a Stake's "Camp VITRUE". It might be what you're going for. From YW Connection ---> ywconnection.com/2007%20-%20Let%20Virtue%20Garnish/page2007campvirtue.html- Ask their Parents ahead of time to write letters to the girls of their love and royal birth and testimony. Give the girls their letters at Camp. - See "A Princess In Her Castle", at YW Connection ----> ywconnection.com/Personal%20Progress/pagePPNBaprincessinhercastle.htmlWISH: - Do something with "Wish Upon A Star", -or-, "Don't just wish upon a star, Pray! - Decorate Pillow Cases with clouds and stars and write "Wish" on them. - As part of girls camp, do something for The Make A Wish Foundation. www.wish.org- Concentrate on the Faith Value.... um... "True Faith is Stronger than a Wish" - 'A Test Of Faith' activity from YW Connection. Before entering, tell the girls that to make it through this 'test' they can either wish or use their faith... ywconnection.com/Firesides/pageFatestoffaith.htmlYou could use WISH as an acronym - - W.I.S.H. ..... Women In Sacred.... H... ? - Would I Stand Here? Yeah, "I Am Of Royal Birth, Would I Stand Here?" -

A steady stream of elderly patients, infants in incubators and others among the city's most vulnerable ill residents left this weekend via a fleet of ambulances, underscoring the effort by local health officials to avoid the missteps that occurred during Hurricane Katrina three years ago, when some critically sick people were left virtually abandoned in flooded, powerless medical facilities and nursing homes. The ambulances ferried patients to the airport for transport to hospitals farther east, in Florida and North Carolina. The effort is not without risk: Gov.Bobby Jindal (R) said in a news conference Sunday evening that officials have received unconfirmed reports of three patients dying in transport, one from New Orleans and two from Lake Charles. At the same time, chief executive of Tulane Medical Center downtown, standing in the emergency room's waiting room, where Katrina blew in three feet of water in 2005. cheap ffxi gilcheap ffxi gilcheap ffxi gilbuy warhammer goldbuy warhammer goldbuy warhammer goldwow goldworld of warcraft goldbuy wow goldcheap wow goldwow power levelingwow powerlevelingwow goldworld of warcraft goldbuy wow goldcheap wow goldwow power levelingwow powerlevelingwow goldworld of warcraft goldbuy wow goldcheap wow goldwow power levelingwow powerleveling but I don't think we will," Lynch said.
